The Apostle Paul wrote most of the New Testament from a prison. The Apostle John wrote the book of revelation while exiled in the solitude of the Island of Patmos. I could never think of comparing myself with these great men, nor do I dare comparing this book with the infallible word of God. However, I pray that from my season of affliction you will be strengthened and encouraged as you walk through your test. And I know this book, which is filled with Gods word can help you. The test is not designed to defeat, discourage, or destroy us. It is designed to shape us, hone us, and take us to greater strength and greater things. I have, at my side, as I navigate my test, my wife, my family, my church family, and my friends. Their prayers and encouragement are priceless. But most of all, I have at my side, my Savior, my Lord, my God, Jesus, Whom I love with all my heart. He has never failed me. I have committed to trust Him with all my heart until He brings me through and I pray that you will do the same.
